Aahahah this is gonna become a mess man! I’m not usually the one to give people a hard time but your screamin for it. So you want to get another monitor and your bosc and argus are miserable?? WTF kind of person are you?? The only thing thats gonna happen is your gonna come back with a dead bosc, a miserable argus and a miserable (fill in blank)....See what I’m saying? and by the description you wrote, the only animal that you could ever buy to get dog tame is a dog...I say, before you make more stupid decisions, is to get your bosc and argus un-miserable. Send us some pics of your monitors and enclosures, also tell us basking temps, air temps, ground temps, substrates, etc. just a simple description of their setups and I’m sure as hell we can help you get your guys in shape.

tit? I like em.

You are looking for the wrong reasons to keep Varanids. Varanids do not get ’dog tame’. At least a healthy individual is not.

If you want a ’dog tame’ animal why not get a dog?

Cheers,
chad

Coults that is all we are asking. What is the substrate on the bottom of the cage. If you dont give us full details we are going to wonder and question. You have to realize we get a bunch of "twats" in here that lack husbandry. We try to help everyone and we just would like to know because if your lacking something (not saying you are) we can help you.

I dont think any monitor " likes being held" they may let you pick them up to get out of the enclosure for food or just to walk around but not to be held like a bearded dragon. There are probally some dog tame monitors out there but its going to be hard to find. If you want a dog tame monitor any monitor can work. Dog tame could range from a nice dog to pitbull tame. It all goes by everyones deffinition of the word tame.
