 Monitor diet

Just wanted to ask what everyone thought was the best all around healthy diet for monitors?
I have a baby sav about 6 in long that so far I’ve only fed crickets lightly dusted w/ calcium powder. And a 3 ft black throat that so far I’ve fed mice(4 in a feeding) and nightcrawlers. Just got him this week.
Wanted to know what other foods you guys recommend, e.g butterworms, mealworms, superworms, waxworms, hissing cockroaches, hard boiled eggs. I know to stay away from dog/cat food.
Also what frequency of feedings would you recommend for the sav and black throat.

 Monitor diet

I feed my 11" savannah crickets every day some days more than others. I also add a pinkey or two twice a week. Im going to start giving him roaches and worms when hes over the crickets. Right now he loves crickets so im breeding some. I would go with crickets everyday with a substitution of mice on like monday and thursday for the baby savannah and mice/chicks every 2 days for the bt with some roaches

I have a black throat monitor that gets 4 gut loaded crickets dusted with calcium and an additional 4 dusted with vitamins, 1 pinkie and 3 small feeder fish (goldfish). He also gets about 5 hissing cockroaches a week.

I have two, 2 foot niles that eat three small mice and a few crickets, each, six days a week. I also have two six foot niles that go through about forty xlarge mice and chicks and five pounds of supplemented turkey between, the two of them, a week.
