Looks great. With enough money and space, I think argus make great first monitors. They’re just so hardy. Everyone’s on this site seem to be doing well.

Ha, Jesse, you’d better stop mixing the Giracle Grow into the diet. They are looking very nice. You are doing a fine job with them. The cage looks very nice too.
Keep up the good work!

Bsm, I’m 95% certain Tazz is male, Skee’s still up in the air though.
They have two cages connected by a 10’ tunnel, one’s 10x4x7, the other is 8x4x7. There is a basking spot in each and both are higher up.

Roger, It’s actually the Scotts Starter Fertilizer that gives them the boost.

Did you paint the inside of that enclosure? If so, what did you use? Also, on one of the basking areas in the picture showing the lights in a row, I was curious as to what wattage they are. I really like your enclosure by the way.

The walls of the cage have 2 coats of drylock masonry water sealer with 2 coats of exterior latex paint on top of that.
The flood lights are 45 watt.

Great looking monitors!

What makes you think Tazz is a male? I’m only asking because I can’t tell the difference until they’re mature, and then its a little more obvious. My argus is just a little smaller than Tazz at around 35" and 8 months old, but i’m still not sure of the sex. I can’t really say it looks more like one of your monitors than the other.

It’s awsome to see nice indoor monitor enclosure! Keep up the good work for sure. You said they’re connected by a 10’ tunnel, never heard of anyone doing that before. I’m thinking its so if they feel like getting the hell away from eachother! Is the entire cage built into the wall? Is there a glass along the tunnel so you can see in? If you could take some pictures that’d be sick. Good job.

Steven.

Mighty, Well I’m 90% because Krusty thought so. The other 5% I’m basing on his bodybuilder arms and legs, bulges behind his vent and the way his head’s developing.

Steven, No windows. The exterior of my cages are still a work in progress. Here’s pics.

 Tazz is a horse!

Another quick update on Tazz. This morning Tazz was considerate to display his package for me. For the record he is certainly male. Sorry no pics, happened to fast to get camera.
