 NEED HELP!!! (BLACK SNAIL)

does it mean its dead if it is found floating or no? it is not stuck to the side or at the bottom like usual, but i dont want to take it out if it is not dead. any help please!!!

I havenít had one for a really long time, but I think I do remember mine floating on occasion. I thought it was dead too, but I left it and then the next day it was back on the glass. I would leave it for a little while and see if it comes out at night.

I had a snail that started floating awhile ago and if you just leave your snail alone it will hopfully heal mine did =) good luck

basically the only real way to tell if your snail is dead is if you find its shell empty lol... they do tend to float around i think its like a faster way to get from place to place or something

push down on that little flap of shell and if there are bubbles its still alive

they float around, the way you tell if they are dead is that the little door in the shell is partly open.

They are fine if it is closed but donít push on it.
