 Is a clam a mollusk? If yes, i have a question.

What do clams eat? i found two in a river in PA.

i think they are.
i think they eat tiny fish O_O or whatever lands in their chops!

Yes they are mollusks..I had a lesson on mollusks.

They are mollusks. To my knowledge they are filter feeders and will eat tiny tiny organisms in the water like algea spores and I guess plankton. I don’t think they can eat any real vertabrates like fish. I would really suggest letting them go back where you found them.

yes clams are mollusks , they are filter feeders, they eat what ever macro/micro organisms that drift by them

I found some in Lake Diaz and I have had them for a year now and they all have lived and I just have them in a tank of still water. I was going to return them but the lake doesn’t want them there clogging up there pipes. So it is posable to maintain them but if you can return them it would be best!
