 Snail eggs

im really hoping someone could help me out. i bought a land snail for my son about 3 - 4 weeks ago, read all the info i could find and snail seems to be settling in well. last night, i noticed some small white eggs in his tank. as i understand it, it takes 2 snails to breed, but bart is living on his own! are we gonna have babby snails, or are these eggs unfertilised?
thanks

Well, as far as I know, when snails breed they both lay eggs. That greatly increases the chances of it laying eggs it bred for before you bought it.

i think they still lay eggs on they own with or without a snail okay the eggs may be not fertile but im not sure i always had two.
