 Bothered by noise?

My boyfriend and I are about to buy a tangerine Honduran milk snake and we haven’t yet decided whose house to keep him at. His house does have more space. The snake would potentially be kept in his room, but my boyfriend plays in a band that would be practicing occasionally in the living room about 50 feet away. Do you think this will upset the snake? Would putting a towel under the tank help dissipate some of the vibrations?
Thanks for the input :)

Can you still hear the music loudly if the door is shut? Reptiles love a quiet area and will get stressed from too much noise.

I would reccomend keeping it at your house if its more quiet because you don’t want a stressed snake that would turn out to be nippy and refuse to eat. Its a pain to get them to eat again..I can’t even have parties in my house because it’ll stress all my reptiles.

Well inside the house the outside is a diffrent story lol and plus it’ll be too much work to.move a full grown burm, water&sav monitor, water dragons, and other cages to a more quiet space just for a party. I already have back problems at a young age lol.

This topic is dated but I figured I would add my own expierence. I have my corn downstairs and my king upstairs. I have frequent parties and a very loud sound system. I also play drums and guitar. I have read before that snakes can get stressed out from the noise. I have not yet seen this problem arise. I often take them out during parties. I very rarely have a snake refuse food. They are docile and seem happy. Maybe they are used to the vibrations, I dunno.
