 Can i use repti sand?

i have an albino nelson milksnake and i have aspen bedding in the cage but i dont like how it looks. can i use Repti Sand made by zoo med? if not what else is a good bedding

Aspen is generally considered excellent; other alternatives are CareFresh, Repti-Bark (fir), cypress mulch, and paper towels. Pine shavings are probably unsatisfactory.

Repti-Sand isn’t that absorbent; milk snakes like to burrow (I use Repti-Bark for that reason with my two Nelson’s), and it may contribute to respiratory problems . . .

Here’s a picture of two of my corns engaging in a little snake romance on Repti-Bark so you can get an idea of its appearance . . .

You should stick with aspen. It’s just the best for milk snakes. They love to burrow, and this is easy for them to do it in. Plus, as long as you spot clean, you don’t need to change it as often as other substrates. I’d stick with the aspen.
