 Eating Problem! mabey

My baby milk snake is not constricting its live pinkies before it eats them.
HE JUST EATS THEM WHILE THEIR STILL ALIVE
is that weird or do a lot of baby snakes do that too

I’ve rarely seen snakes constrict pinkys, particularly if F/T ones are a regular part of their diet. That’s probably what they fed it at the pet shop or the breeders, and they seem to know when they don’t need to expend unnecessary energy.

I feed both live and F/T to all my snakes, and they will all constrict hopper or larger size mice if they seem to sense it’s necessary.

Nothing to worry about . . .

oh ok thanks. I just wanted to know if I should have been worried or not because I didnt want this habit of his to go onto adulthood but if its common then its fine.
