 New Albino Tangerine Honduran

A few days ago I got a male Albino Tangerine Hondo that is nearly 2 years old. I fed him for the first time last night. Very eager eater, very beautiful snake. After he finished his mouse, he had a little piece of bedding (carefresh pet bedding, the recycled paper stuff) in his mouth. He opened his mouth a few times and attempted to scrape it out by rubbing his face on the bottom. I checked him later and he was just crawling around still in "feed me mode" and it didn’t seem to be bothering him anymore. Obviously I can’t see in his mouth, but I assume he either got it out or swallowed it. If not, it didn’t seem to be bothering him anymore. It was a very small piece, but should I worry about impaction? Or would it take him swallowing a lot of it?

Occasionally swallowing a small bit of substrate with food won’t hurt. Impaction only occurs if quantities are swallowed on a regular basis.

thanks for the reply. He is doing well. I bought a rubbermaid box for a feeding box, but have still been feeding in the cage as of now.
