 Confused

So as far as I know 2 male geckos cannot live in the same environment, so I have a large tank and a divider in the middle. They have been living like that for 2 months since I bought then 2 months ago. Well today I went to feed them and I usually feed the 3 1/2 month old first and then the 1 year old. I lifted the hide of Leo (the 31/2 month) and almost cried when he wasn’t under it. I was almost crying and trembling when I lifted the hide for Felix and breathed a huge sigh of relief when I saw them interacting with each other and Leo wasn’t dead. I have arranged to find out the gender of Low when he turns 6 months but my question is, is it ever possible 2 male leopard geckos can be in the same space snd one doesn’t die?
