Good to know your leo started eating more quickly, and pardon my lateness.

New lizards will sometimes refuse food. New leos can refuse it for up to a week before they give in and feast. Give the leo a week to acclimate to its new surroundings without poking it or the such, and have the tank in a secluded room without much traffic. This’ll help prevent any future food refusals.

Similarly, in the future, the leo may not eat for up to three days. This is normally tied to shedding, as pre-shed the leo is uncomfortable, and post-shed the leo has eaten the shed and is full. Normally you’ll miss the shedding experience entirely as it can happen in mere minutes while you sleep, but there are those times when the leo will up and stop eating for, like, a day or two.
