 My 5 month old Female Leo......

Hi guys..... Marmalade, My Five month old, she is very active and is still very young, but she has not shed for a month and a half.......( ever since i got her) and i don’t know why shes not shedding......

Her tank is perfect temperature, and she eats crix and super Worms, and have calcium, and clean water. she has one hid, and paper towel, and she seems really really healthy..... but just that shedding thing....

You will almost never see your leo shed.

They usually do it out of nowhere, in the dead of night, and eat the evidence just as quickly. It’s harder to tell shedding periods with younger leos, as they don’t usually show any signs before doing it - and they’ll do it two or more times a month. As the leo becomes an adult, you may catch it once in a while when the full grown leo turns a paler shade in color a few hours before change.

What you should worry about is if any shed is stuck on the eyes or feet. The fact that there hasn’t been means everything is good and your leo is healthy. Though it can happen sometimes.

ive seen me leo shed like 4 or 5 times since i was given him in june


btw hes on tile not sand as in the first pic
