you spooked it and not they are just normally silent.

most geckos can vocalize leos jus dont do it seeing that they dont need it in captivity

Ok...

my geckos make noises, but El JEfe my male tang albino is crazy, when he croaks or crabs he doesn’t even look at me anymore, he sees me out of the corner of his eye and if he thinks i am going to disturb him , he crabs a bit, it’s hilarious..i usually get it when i am going to put him back in the aquarium...lol,

looks grumpy, right?
