 Plz answer this question its important.. :)

i know this isn’t the mealworms forum but no ones answering me so plz answer.......is it ok to feed dead meal worms to your lizard?is it safe?is it ok?plz answer i know some of ya feed mealworms to your lizards and probably are expert mealworms people.btw i have a northern alligator lizard but i dont want to go there cause this place is awsome!byeoh plz answer this is important

It’s safe to feed dead ones I’m sure but most of the time they aren’t interested in the prey item unless it’s live.

Eww I really wouldn’t. Unless it died about a second or two before you feed it. Why would you want to? Leos like moving prey and I know some will eat nasty dead stuff, but really dead bugs aren’t good. They lose all of their nutrients right after they die (release their bowels). If they’re the nasty black dead ones then that’s just gross. One time I picked up a dead one like that and instead of being hard it just fell apart and there was black juice everywhere...it smelled awful...bleh.
