 New to leopards... *pics*

hello. i have been here for a long time on other topics but i came across the most beautiful leo today at petco. can i have help with the morph?? heres a couple pics...

now i do have a couple questions... how does lighting work? i have read that they need UVA/UVB rays... but i have also seen people use a red light all the time day and night. which is better?

what are safe night temp drops?

and how long can a juvie stay in a ten gallon?

thanks!!!

Leos dont need uva or uvb lighting. Personally i prefer using some type of belly heat. I have my geckos in a rack so they have belly heat. An undertank heater would work fine.

Night time temps. I would say 75 degrees is as low as you would want to go on the cool side.

as far as the ten gallon tank you can house a single leo in there their whole lives, If you have any further questions or comments let me know.

You should get a rheostat for your UTH. That was you can monitor and choose the temp. =)
Like this one.

Nice Leo! I’d say high yellow also, but I’m NO expert at all, whatsoever, lol.

That’s definately gotta be a high yellow. The bands will disappear in time and the back should go completely yellowish in color with some spots going away over time. Definitely a beut.
