Normals...
Update on my first rescue, Bugs. He is beautiful. Photos taken under florescent bulb.
I do cocaine!
His first time using a bowl =) Big step for him. He has poor eyesight and has been hand fed since I got him. Now he can eat on his own. He’s gained so much weight since I got him.
I’ll have to upload video of him eating out of the bowl. It was too cute. He couldn’t figure it out for the longest time. Thank you for looking. Isn’t he stunning? |

With all the people having all these morphs, it’s nice to see a good looking normal once in awhile. Everybody wants the "morphs" because they don’t want to admit to everyone that they just have a "normal, common" leopard gecko, when really, I kinda prefer them now. |

Thank you guys for all the comments on Bugs. He makes me want to cry somethings =’) I’m so proud of him. He lives with my boyfriend...and it’s very unfortunate (this isn’t really related but I have to get it off my chest) but I have to take my boyfriend’s crestie in the next few days because he finally admitted he is not responsible enough for her. I had to put my fist down today while I was helping her with some extra shed. She has two fingers that have been stuck together for the longest time and I’m afraid she will lose them. She turned a year old last month, on the 4th...and she is less than 15 grams...so today I sat him down and I said "I’m taking Pizza from you. You can’t do this to us anymore." And he shook his head. I think he’s been waiting for me to confront him about it. I also noticed her jaw showing some signs of MBD. I just had to take his alligator lizard to my vet about 5 weeks ago because he had worse than MBD, called Metabolic Secondary Hyperthyroidism. His bones were gone. He’s better now, but will never be able to use his limbs correctly and he is only 2. It’s very embarrassing to face my vet with my boyfriend’s reptiles...and it’s very heartbreaking to find out that although my boyfriend shares the same passion as I do, he is not responsible enough. But we’ve been together for three years and I can’t just leave him for this, so I guess I’m going to have to get used to the fact that I will always be alone with the care of my animals. He will be the one that cleans the poop I guess...that seems to be simple enough for him. But Bugs turned out to be a fine match for him. You can see he’s very plump and he’s such a happy little guy. I’m actually really surprised Bugs is doing so well. He wants me to take his crestie AND alligator lizard because he’s afraid he will mess up again. but for now I only have room for the one who needs me most right now. And he’s doing a very fine job with the alligator lizard. So expect to see some pics in the crestie forum...And don’t worry...I sent him to the pet store weeks ago with a list of things he needs. Before he even got his crestie, I told him everything he needs. And when he got Darth Gator I told him he HAS to dust his food...and he didn’t listen...ugh...boys...they never listen...but he’s doing it right now. Just had to learn the hard way I guess at the expense of innocent lives. |

 . My male Dusty looked like a normal to me when I first got him and the biggest one there, but he turned into a little HTCT now.

I honestly don’t remember when I got Bugs...but it hasn’t been more than a year, I know that for sure. The conditions I got him from were absolutely horrid. |

Everybody’s different ;) My personal opinion is yes, generally males will be larger (slightly or obviously) than females but really it isn’t uncommon at all to have a large female. But out of the leos that I own and my friends, the three males are larger than the three females and all are full grown and within a couple of years from eachother. So my statistics really aren’t that spread out lol. Leah, you leo is gorgeous (^_^) He’s got a short round snout, like my Monty.
