Do not place the snake outside in direct sun...like a dog in a car the snake will cook

25 C is perfect inside all year... add 1 lamp 40 watts to increase the temp to 30 C only one 1 location far side of tank

Understand???

Yes , i understand, thank you for reply. now i have the kingsnake in a bigger aquarium (100L) with a heat pad, but in summer i turn it off, and the tem is 24º - 25º. for winter i hope that enought to keep , i have installed a flourescent lamp inside the aquarium protected with a hire cage, but i use only for lighting. In winter i should buy a flourescent lamp for heating... Thank you.

The heat pad will be plenty of heat during the winter ...as long as the snake can rest in that area. I place a hide over the heated area ... the hide sits on top of aspen bedding. The snake can burrow deeper to get warmer or rest on top to stay cooler ...or move to the other side of the enclosure if it chooses ... I do not use a lamp.

The heat pad is made by zoo med and is equal to 8 watts of heating power. On full power the heat pad produces 100-105 F it drops as it transfers through the glass and the aspen bedding to about 95 ...in the winter due to room temps being lower it stays about 80-85 F
