My two new pyros. They are due to arrive Thursday. The breeder took these shots. Once they settle in I will post more. I will probably call the female Dotz. She has a cute little dot on her neck. Haven’t named the male yet.

My wild Cali king female Snakezoid. She is on the thermostat probe cord. She does this when she is hungry. Like, I could have sworn there was a hole up here!

Sonoran Mtn. King Snake (Lampropeltis pyromelana) pyromelana & woodini (Also called Arizona Mtn King.)
Bill still has some babies ready and will have some more pretty soon. Shipping to Tennessee would put you in the higher cost range shipping wise. Bill does PayPal. Give him a call, he is a good guy.

L.Roy,
I probably am paying too much but they are sexed, eating and guaranteed healthy. I live way the heck out in the woods so getting to a show in a big urban center is a daunting task. There is a reptile show happening in Sacramento September 13-14, 2008 which I may go to; it is close enough. Then there is one in San Jose August 9 - 10, 2008 but I hate going there, as the traffic is awful. If I get to the Sacramento show and see any Knobs at a reasonable price, I will likely succumb to temptation!
Doesn’t Crimson King live in Florida? That is a lot closer to Tennessee, which might work for Hatchet_man.

I grew up in Contra Costa County. There aren’t many people I hate, but land developers top my list! They came in and tore out all the citrus orchards and covered up the best farm land in the world with a bunch of ticky tacky crap! I get all boiled just thinking about this.

I would hate to think I’d been taken to the cleaners on this deal. I searched long and hard for the best deal. The female is a little odd in her markings but she is so cute I chose her anyway.

Everybody has such beautiful snakes! The old Internet joke "Here is a picture of my cat" will have to be changed to "Here’s a picture of my snake!"

A couple of pics of Artimas playing on a new area instead of walking aroung the house in my hand....

I am getting really tired of my oldest son’s cat trying to trip me so she can see what’s in my hands. Artimas seems much happier playing on our bed. Most importantly....NO CATS!!!!

HaHaHa!
No cats indeed!

My bed, and a couple of more or less permanent residents, Petey and Terry.

My reptile cages for outdoor solar exposure, more for the bluebellies than for the snakes, although I do have some for the snakes, too. The snake’s tub is put in more shade. She seems to enjoy the outdoor smells. Nobody enjoys having a saber tooth tiger sitting on the roof, though! I keep the cats out of the front porch when I have my reptiles out there, but the cages are cat-proof, none the less! Terry wanted to be in this photoshoot, it seems.

Our room is specifically a "NO CAT ZONE" because of that reason, and my hubby’s work clothes. He’s a journeyman autobody painter, and cat hair is a pain to blow off before doing a paint job.

He must have to either climb out the bedroom window or carry his workclothes to the job in a plastic bag, and change at work.
I have found cat hair inside engines when rebuilding. I guess it gets in past the air filter or when changing the oil or something. I bet there is cat hair on the Space Shuttle!

One of my snake habitats, with cold pack. The snake is under the terracotta saucer with moist sphagnum moss. This setup is cat-proof, too. This is during the heat of the day, no air conditioning, but the cold pack on the edge of the saucer has been working quite well, keeping a comfortable mid 70s Fahrenheit under the saucer. This side of the cabin is in deep shade as well.
I will try later when the snakes come out at dusk to get more photos of them. I am loath to disturb them now.
