Is she eating a rat? When I first saw this photo of her swallowing what looked like a wet golden retriever, I was having to agree; yes she IS a big girl! She can eat my neighbor’s Rottweiler any time she is in my neck of the woods! (Nah, I know I’d actually have to get a python for that job...)

nope just a mouse,

zoos in SE asia feed dogs to large captive pythons. i’m pretty sure they’re only scrawny village dogs tho and not big 100 pounders.

i dunno if they prekill them. but i do know that a 250lb python could careless if a 50lb dog chewed on it a little b/4 it dissappeared down the hatch. big pythons are pure beastly!
when i was a kid i saw a documentary of a big python attacking a leopard, well, the leopard did’nt have chance even tho it had fangs and claws the python was many times stronger.

Nice looking girl you got there. Hopefully, I will have a few of those in the future. I’ve decided to thin out my colubrid collection. When I’m done selling, I will have 1.1 Easterns and 1.1 Floridana to start out with (although, I am sure that will continue to grow).

I always take my friend Smitty along when I go hiking. (Smith&Wesson 9mm 915 plus extra clips.) Also the only way I will take a nap in the forest is in a hammock. One time I was taking a nap on an old piece of foam bedding at a campsite, and I woke up to find a big fat rattle snake stretched out alongside my leg. We made eye contact and he looked about as surprised as I was, like Oh, I didn’t know you were a living thing! I sat very still and allowed him to leave, which he did slowly, all the while looking back at me in seeming puzzlement. After he left I lifted up the old foam and discovered a bunch of mouse nests under it; I had been napping on top of his buffet!
