Feeding
 if my babana california kling snake does not eat his mouse in the tank. should i take it out after a certain amount of time . its a frozen mouse and re freeze it ,. will the tank smell if i keep the mouse in there for over a day

Feeding  You can leave the mouse in the tank for 12 hours maximum. The dead mouse will start decaying as soon as it warms up, so there’s no way you can re-freeze it. Throw it away. Snakes never take food items gone bad, they’re not scavengers.

 thanks so much that’s really helpful.. my smoke is little and i feel the small mice are to big for him to eat .. it took him a while the first time is there any where i can get the really little ones.. with out the white fuzz

Feeding  With frozen/thawed food, you can use a food dish if you’re worried about getting any kind of spoilable residue onto his substrate. In fact, if your using something that he could swallow along with his food it’s a good idea anyway.
