i know a pet shop that only charge 50p in england. So stick insects are from tropical places and need a heat mat. Type "Stick incect caresheet" in on google and there is loads of information.

I have about 20 stck insects. I feed mine blackberry leaves, alder leaves, and ivy leaves. I also mist their cage 1 time every day. They are one of my favorite insects.

Nearly all of them eat bramble leaves and Indian sticks (the beginners pet, the cheapest and the easiest to obtain) eat ivy and privet as well. Mist spray them about 2/3 times a week and refresh the food once a week unless it’s hot weather and the leaves dry out quickly. Stick the food in oasis to keep it fresh and don’t keep all the eggs from indians-they’re very prolific! I keep mine (Indian sticks) at room temperature without a heat mat and they’re fine but some species do need warmer temperatures. Areaton asperrimus were £2.50 each at my pet shop but Indians are a lot cheaper and yes, can be bought from 50p.

their kite hard to look after i say that you need to clean them out at least twise a week and you could put soil at the botem of your cage or what ever you got to keep them this would need to be baked for 30 mins so you dont get mites

i have got 2 giant australin stick insects
