 Mealie Beetles?

Breeding mealworms is easy as pie.

I donít know of any places to get mealworm beetles.

Just buy some mealworms, and they will change by theirselves. Much easier that way.

Get some kind of bin and put Cherrios and Rice krispies in there. ANd put some baby carrots for their water source.

And buy some mealworms, I just buy from petsmart but you can buy on the internet and get thousands at once. Just put them in the bin.

They will eat the cereal and the carrots. After a few weeks they will change into these white alien looking things. And after 2 weeks or less they will hatch out into the beetles, and start laying eggs.

ANy where from 2-5 weeks they will hatch and you will have thousands of baby mealworms.

Well you canít breed the mealworms, you have to wait till they change into beetles for them to breed.

Only the beetles can breed and lay eggs, the eggs will hatch into mealworms and they will change into beetles and so on.

 Mealie Beetles?

Well with 2 mealies thatís just be 2 beetles producing less than a thousand.

Plus what happens if the beetles are both males or females, you got nothing then.

So go buy at least 25 mealworms.

They sell 50 in a lil container at Petsmart.

I would buy 2 containers though because alot of them could be dead, they donít give a water source to them so alot du, so buy 2 just in case.

It could start with 2 just if you have alot more their will be alot more eggs and when they hatch you will alot more baby mealworms.

My mealworm container now has thousands of baby mealworms, and Iíve had it setup for only 4 months.

Whats the difference between a mealworm and a supperworm? they sound the exact same on how you breed them.

 Mealie Beetles?

Mealworms are much smaller. They get to an inch tops.

While a full grown superworm can get to 2-3 inches.

And if u breed superworms they have to be isolated or they wonít chnage into the beetles.

And the beetles are huge compared to the simple mealworm beetles.
