No, it was my first time, First I got 500 super worms, adults, then I put filled a sweater box with film canisters. I put each one in a separate canister. I waited a couple week and I got these papas that are huge and white. Then I waited a couple more days and got huge red beetles. I then put them all in a giant sweater box with chicken feed at the bottom, and little absorbent pillows with water. I have some paper towel tubes in with them. And withing 1 week, all of the females laid their eggs in the tubes. I then waited a week or two and they hatched. So then I removed the beetles and put them in another sweater box and the whole process began again.

Just about any kind of fruit or vegie. My favorite to use are apples and potatoes. They arnt too messy and give the worms the right amount of food and water.

 Success on breeding superworms....

I recently ordered 250 superworms and came home to find them all dead (I hadnít checked in on them for 3 days). I think the humidity did them in or something, and the container wasnít too big either.
My question is how often do you change your veggies?
And do the worms pupate while in their holding pen with all the other superworms, or do you have so isolate them first?

thanks

You have to isolate them in order for them to pupae.

When you seperate each superworm, do they need to be fed, or given any water? And how many eggs do you think 10 female superworms could make?

No as long as the superworm is like 2 inches and seems really big, some people put a lil bit of food in with them but I prefer not too.

Well I started out with 20 beetles and I got millions of baby supers. I still have them, their all different sizes now, I just feed them off to my frogs and toads.

Here is a good basic site on breeding superworms w/ pics & everything:
Link
I am starting a colony myself and used this site for the basic information. I started with 100 superworms. I didnít have 35mm film containers for them so I bought the small plastic condiment cups w/ lids at a local wholesale place for just a few dollars. Seems to be working well, so far only about 10 have died and only have a few left that havenít yet "pupated", but look like they will any day now. I started mine about 3 weeks ago.
