 Question on weight gain....

My iguana is underweight.... any suggestions on what I can add to her diet to help fatten her up? I am giving her collard greens and snap peas as her staples ( I only got her a week ago, I will add more) but what can I feed to fatten her up? The vet told me to give her crickets and meal worms but I am aware that is not good. So, what to give?

 Question on weight gain....

Just some extra info.... Vet tested her for worms or parasites and she has none. She eats anywhere from a cup and a half to two cups of healthy greens a day, very good appetite. She poops everyday. She is friendly and sweet.
I am sure she will eventually gain weight on what I am feeding her, I just want to help her along if I can. Thanks.

You could try adding more. They like bell peppers, bananas, tomatoes, squash. Maybe just the different proteins from different snacks will help. I’m trying to fatten mine up to. I just got him and the people were just feeding him crickets. He’s healthy but a little skinnier than I would like.
