 Zoo med bulbs blowing out

is anyone else having this issue with there bulbs blowing out?
i normally use 150 for my iggie for the winter at first i thought it was my dome then i took the bulbs back to pet smart and the lady said that multiple customers have come back with the same issue and to go down one watt and so i did and it works!

I order my Zoo Med light online and have not had any problems with them. My iguana has been with me for eight years.

I was having that issue with the National Geographic basking bulbs from Petsmart. I switched to Zoomed and haven’t had any issues with bulbs blowing out since. *knock on wood*

i have a female iggy 10-12 years old and during this time I have found these lamps work far longer than any reptile bulb ...for heat only
Im so sick of the reptile store lamps burning out soooo fast

Chicken brood lamp 125 watt

these lamps work great and to save on shipping I order 4 at a time maybe 6 ...depends. They also have them in 250 watt if you desire. And they are available in red for night time ...

If 125 watts is too strong you can get a lamp dimmer from Lowes or Home depot for about 12.00 and lower the lamp intensity/ heat output.

lamp dimmer

Come on over to IGUANA OWNERS on facebook ...post pics and join the fun
