Well honestly , I don’t think so ....if he can see a way out he will continue to try. Close up the bottom ... even if you have to staple on some cardboard so it can’t see an escape route. Close all of the sides about 6" high with anything cardboard/wood/ background paper.... Of course you have to have the door operate ...so work around that issue...but close off the areas where dirt falls out and light enters. Next I would get rid of the soil....not the best substrate if you ask me. A solid wood bottom or tile is easy to clean up...even vinyl. A hammock raised up a bit above the floor will allow it a comfy spot to hang out. There are so many more ideas ...show us better pics of the set up ...full view Maxine lives in the front window mostly... roams outside and thru the house daily...potty trained too. she sleeps up high via a ramp and ladder made for her.
