#2268346 Makenzie View Profile	Oscar is turning blue! My baby iguana is starting to have some blue on his face... of coarse i immediately googled it and it says that its not a color to be worried about...but why is he turning blue?? I’m trying to get a picture of it without him wiggling or freaking out and its not going over well. Out of all the pictures I’ve seen except the most recent entire blue iguana beauty, i’ve never seen it like this. Ugh. Stressful!

It’s normal as they grow older their colors change I have one whose face and neck is very blue and white compared to my other iguana who is still green and has some orange so it’s very normal as they grow older they get different colors.

He is very handsome! i do have one comment to make and that is that his food looks way too big for him, it should be chopped smaller. to about the size of the space between their eyes. its a pain to chop it by hand that way, so what i did was buy a food processor for $9 at walmart. makes meal times a breeze for Arokh...and Levi could eat a whole collard green in one bite so i dont worry about micing his food, i just rip it to pieces lol! congrats on your handsome guy!

Yeah it amazes me...without fail every time he picks out the biggest bite he can possibly find and when i try to take it from him, he whips he head and tail around like crazy. I will be sure to be more careful and make every bite smaller. Thanks for the advice!
