OT: kid gets hit by car n he gets the ticket

K so I babysit my bestfriends kids while he’s at work, one is 11 and the other is 5 I take adin(5yr old) to after noon kindergarten around 12:30 and D(11 yr old) rides his bike and then pegs his little bro home after school well on wednesday I get a call around 8:30 (when ds already on his way to school) from my friend telling me somebody just hit d with a car and he told me what street to go look on, I ran out of the house with adin in just a sweatshirt I could find and took off driving his path too school, freaking out the whole time, I find him bout a block from his house surrounded by cops cool theres someone there helping, well he was crossing a crosswalk on a bike to a entrance to a neighborhood and this lady decided that the stop sign didnt mean to stop and hit him shoved him into on coming traffic and he luckily ran out of the way of getting completly ran over his brandnew bike he got for his bday last week wasnt so lucky... and the messed up part is the head cop was flirting with the girl who hit devin... tell me how retarded this is she says I felt like I mighta bumped something so I got out and looked and saw the kid in the street the which didnt even look and the cop was all over pittying her... and gave d a ticket for riding on the sidewalk well in the state of nv it is only illegal to ride on sidewalks where there is a posted sign saying so (which there isnt on that street cuz it leads to 3 schools) and if you are riding on a sidewalk you have the right of way when crossing crosswalks but must stop and let pedastrians have the right of way on the sidewalk so no where in the law does it say that he couldnt have been on the sidewalk oooo and the best part is the cop let the girl leave without so much as a warning and d has the ticket ugh I’m sooo mad.... so this was my event of the week let me know what you think... oh ya I forgot to mention that d knee is twice its normal size and he has a road rash starting at his nipple and going all the way down his ribs and is about 3inches wide and 7 inches long and a couple little scrapes n stuff everywhere else ok well ttyl ~callie~

Oh Callie...That’s bull s**t..did the medics (EMT’s or Paramedics) show up to check him out????

Weather he was in the right or wrong...... she ran the stop sign and hit him...I’d press charges against her and fight the ticket that was given to the child....

If he didn’t have any medical attention and he is hurt ( he may have some internal injuries).... I’d take him in and get him checked out and send her the bills.....Boy I’d fight this tooth and nail all the way.....Justice needs to be done here...
