every time i get ’tello out for his bath, he tries to shred his mommy. then once he’s in the bath, he’s fine and relaxed. then i put the towel down for him, and he crawls up, still mellow. and then i try to put him in his cage, and he explodes and ends up here:



he’ll still be there when i wake up in the morning, weird lizard.

hey, calico, pm me your snail mail and i’ll send you a love doll. i made a smaller one for ’tello, cause his was way too big, but he just throws it on the floor. apparently he’d rather just be irritable...

Oh and not jocking your thread or anything but I found love dolls at the dollar store yesterday. Buddys been a creep and rubbing his butt on everything and I saw the ones you made. Thought it was a great idea.


I couldnt get a picture of Reptar and Buddy on Halloween opposite sex and all. So I put Reptars boyfriend in frame. Buddys is a lime green!!! :D they have beards and everything.

i couldn’t stand it anymore!!! it’s not the same dragon; i found this one on craigslist. they wanted $40 for him. he’s three years old! and so teeny! there are more pics of him under "he’s so teeny" and "stewie comes home." they had him in a tiny cage, and he was so cold when i picked him up. but i gave him a little physical and he seems healthy, so i took him. he’s skinny, but he eats like he’s been starving all his life. i think he is a boy; he’s awful small, but i see "boy bumps." anyway, his nme is stewie, and if he turns out to be a she, her name is stewie.

lol nice pics :) I love them all tello is opposite of stitch stitch is fine you put him in the bath and he cant wait to get out I’ve only heard of iggys likeing there bath figures mine would be different... lol never wants to come out of his cage until he is out then he doesnt want to go back I think I have a bipolar iggy lmao... lilly has me fooled I’d take her out... and I’m happy bout your stewie!!!! he looks like he’ll fit right in!!!! I love all the pics of everyones iggys cant get enough of pics lol and yes I’ll be pming you cuz your fricken awesome!!!! lol :) ya I’m in a very happy mood today lol :)

chris, max is very photogenic--a truly handsome critter. i’m sorry you had to wake the poor dear up, but the pics were worth it.

while we’re randomly posting, look at these pores!





the plugs are so big they cast actual shadows. i touched one and he flashed me, eeew! typical man--WAY over-reacts to a touch on his leg. lol!

WOW! Stewie is three. Hes sooooo teeny! Ive noticed Attila growing by the day. I need to get motivated and build some cages. Tilla is a squirt though everytime hes out of the cage he leaps out of my hands and scurries across the room. Ill take some photos tonight maybe some porn pics and see what the sex is. Reptar too. I’ve had so many different opinions about her!

geez, i’m terrified of stewie getting away! he’s so small, and i have four cats! we guard him close when he’s out. he seems so tiny because i’m used to handling my big old iguanas. i can tell gender with reptar, i’m sure. so could annie. but i don’t know about attila; i read they have to be older. i thought stewie was a boy because i saw "boy bumps," but i realized that those are in front of his vent, whereas ’tello’s boy bumps are behind his vent, actually on the underside of his tail. so now i don’t know. i really think stewie is just too small to tell yet. i’d still love to see pics, though!

I’m so confused with reptar. I’ve been looking at some rescue sites online for iguanas. I read this crazy statistic like 1 million iguanas are imported to America each year and 100,000 die in the first year. Over half dont like to be 10 years old. sad sad sad. If I would have known this I would have left reptar in that nice pet store cage and adopted one that actually needed a home. I know reptar would have found a family, hes such a well behaved iguana.

ANYWAY! looking online, i found a group of abused males that didnt look that different from reptar. The glands on the jaws werent as swollen as some I’ve seen before. confused! I would adopt a non dominant male or female in a heart beat. Once I get my cages straight of course.

I measured Attila and reptar...buddy wouldnt get off the blinds. Attila was 12 and a half inches long last month and is now 14 inches :D! Reptar growing at a slower pace is now 40 and a half inches only a half an inch longer than last month.
Oh BTW Buddy carries his love doll like a dog. He bites its foot and then drags her everywhere he goes.

’tello just throws his on the floor! i guess he’d rather just take care of himself (ew!).

iguanas do slow down on the growing as they get bigger. if i were you, i wouldn’t go by head shape or jowls or anything like that to try to guess gender; it’s not reliable. go by the pores. the pores don’t lie. get us some iggy porn up (underneath of back legs and vent)--we’ll tell ya!

it is sad what people will do for money. every once in a while i have to post a rant about it. i consider mine to be lucky to have found me, even if i didn’t know much at first. but buying reptar wasn’t a mistake--you and s/he belong together.

Jesse,

No cage for Max ... he resides on the couch, he favors 3 locations. One is where he retires every evening...the other 2 are basking spots. He eats from his bowl in the living room floor and potty’s in the bath room. I built a PVC ladder and am trying to get him to go in the tub ...but that will take time ...for now he goes in the pan, a washing machine drainage pan.

He has never had a cage as far as I know...and the 2 owners before had him free roaming also.. I will be building a higher perch ...and a few more shelves.... we shall see in time. I do remember what you wrote me in the PM ...so I am keeping that info filed in my head...ty
