 Ig’s bad leg? :(

this is a pic of my igs bad leg (left one)
the knee is swollen and she cannot straighten out her leg or bend it in
whats wrong with it?
help please!



PS. it got like this from when my mom lost her for almost three weeks outside.

Well my best advice is she needs to be taken to a vet...She could have many injuries..and from my point of view the other leg looks really swollen too..So I’d get her to a vet ASAP.....

yeah i’d take her too a vet quick.. it could be broken or it could be mbd they sometimes get swollen limbs where they cant move them either! so you’ll definetly have to take her to the vet and get her x rayed

the otha leg only looks big because its forward.
i already took her to the vet.
he said it may be broken but theres nothing he could do cause shes small and as long as shes usin it 2 walk (which she is) then theres no probelm n it should heal over time!?
she doesnt seem to be in any pain with it.

I would ask for x-rays if it is broken. could be that the bone or tissue is growing over the break. If it is broke I am not sure what could be done to re-set it,being on a knee is different than like Eisa’s broken toes when we got him. I am not sure MBD could come on that quick over 3 weeks . When Eisa had MBD it was in his thighs and jaw. But definitely ask for an x-ray and if it is bone, ask about what to do next, like long term effects since he is still little. Good luck!

yea, i dont think mbd would b the case especially since he was outside and gettin uvb light from the sun, as little as 1 hour of natural sunlight a day is enough for an ig.
