Best of luck with Rusty Ron. I am a true animal lover though snakes and rats are two species I just could not handle. I did get a snake from my GF’s for my 16th BD but before I could set him in his enclosure with ALL the stuff I bought, he passed away. My cat at the time watched me bury him unknowingly to me...you can use your imagination for the rest. It was traumatic! haha

Again, good luck with Rusty

Tone~

Congrats on your new baby. Just make sure he is handled regularly or else they become very wild like Black Thunder. We got him when he was 2 and his previous owners never handled him. He flailed and whipped just until this last year. My youngest daughter breeds the mice for him so in our house it all works out. ::Smiles:: Good luck!

That bp is pretty darn skinny. But otherwise very cute. Make sure you take priority in getting his weight up, minimal handling or messing with his cage.

Zechriel...

Ball Pythons are different than other snakes. They don’t flail around or become wild when you don’t handle them much, they are naturally shy and do not get aggressive like others. They are shy and will become easily stressed into not eating if you handle them often. They are not snakes to be handled "regularly".
