 Where to get big sticks for Cage?

Where did you all get your big sticks or logs for your cage? I cant find any around my house and the pet store wanted 50$ for a stick wtf?

I imagine you’d have to find a wooden area. You need ones that are wider than his middle so he can be supported comfortably. You will need to pre treat them for possible mites though before using them.
I do not have any natural branches in Sam’s enclosure. His driftwood tree cost 100.00

im lucky that i live on the beach in southern california. i found 4 very nice pieces of driftwood that i rinsed with water and bleach and let them sun dry for a couple days before introducing them to his habitat. cost me a total of a quarter mile walk on a beautiful saturday morning. :)

Hey!! I got all my big logs from the railroad track walk i take my dog on. We have abbondaoned railroad system that goes all across our whole town and i look in the woods and i find nice ones all the time. Sand them down. Take the hose to em. Sand once it dries one more time. Then take the leaf blower to it and add carpet them BAM.
