THIS POST IS NOT FOR FEEDING YOUR IGUANA BUGS..SO PLEASE DO NOT FEED YOUR IGGYS BUGS.....IT IS FOR OTHER REPTILES THAT CAN EAT BUGS!!!!!!!

Hi Everybody,
I know a lot of us iggys owners own other reptiles that are bug and meat eaters and I have found some great post on breeding your own food (bugs) for your other reptiles...........

Thanks and wow theres a ton of great info in this post i have kind of a dumb question before this i never knew anything about the growth or breeding of the food bugs so im just wondering if meal worms eventually turn into Beatles because i had a container of mealies for like 3 months and when i was getting toward the end there was this random black beatle in my container and i have no clue how he got there lol it just baffled me and when i saw your last link i noticed it looks similar so let me know just so im no longer baffled the post rocked, yours usually do =]

Mealies will do the same as supers, they go from a worm to pupa to beetle.... they breed and then you have mealie babies...

thanks thats some great info expecially cuase i spend like 40 bucks a month alone on crickets we might try it soon :).

It is so much cheaper...Once you get started you save soooo much money and you know your bugs are clean....

I also raise my own pinkies.. I have rats & mice.......and boy is that cheaper.......just to order frozen pinkies & pups the shipping is $50.00 or higher...OUCH!!!!!!!!
