Hey, I just got a red iguana and i need all the advice i can get. Is it pretty much the same as a green iguana? How can i tame it? So on so fourth.

Just spend more time with your iguana-Take it step by step and make sure he/she knows that your there for it and not to cause any harm-In time your iguana will get use to you.You’ll see

Two bumps in two days??? you are anxious arent you?

First off welcome to the wonderful world of iguana ownership! There’s a ton of info in the "members area" like diet sheets, cage/Vivarium info, medical tips and such. Also you can do a search that will give you info on a specific subject. I agree with JD, handle your ig as much as you can and be consistant and patient, it takes time to train/tame an Iguana.

Best advice I can give you is READ READ READ! After the basic necessities are met, (eg. proper diet, hydration and atmosphere) the best thing you can do for your Iguana is learn more about your Iguana!
