 Magnesium and Vitamin B?

My trainer told me to give my mare magnesium and vitamin B to calm her down. In winter she gets really forward and quick, and this doesn’t help. If she goes fast, her gaits get really uncollected and unbalanced, so we’re trying to fix that.

Is this a safe way to take the edge off? It is effective?

I know for people B Complex helps us deal with stress. Perhaps it is simular in horses?

That could be.

I’m mainly concerned on if it’s safe, because I know a lot of the mare relazing products can be dangerous. There’s one, "Moody Mare", that someone at my barn used, and they ended up poisoning their mare because it had some sort of root in it that was toxic to horses. I’m just being careful.

Always a good idea, and never hurts to check with the vet too!
