 Argus Monitor health concern

Wondering if anyone knows what this bump is on the back of my 1.5 year old Argus Monitor, he was fine and didn’t have it when i shut his light off last night then when i turned it on this morning he was having a hard time using his back legs to walk and moving really slowly then i noticed the bump on his spine just above his tail.

I don’t know if i should take him to a vet or if this will heal and blow away, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If your not sure then you need a professioanl opinion...the vet.

Is it a bite ...can you see anything like a spider bite...irritated scales ...I had a snake that got a zit or something similar under a scale and I popped it and cleaned it ...it healed just fine.

Just got some xrays its his spine looks like he injured it in his cage somehow but its healing up pretty well, hes starting to get movement back in his legs and tail :)

Thats good news...and maybe it was a bit expensive , but it sure is worth the peace of mind knowing for sure what’s going on

Money will come and go and you can replace it...a beloved pet can not be so easy to to replace .

Congrats and all the best to you and your Argus
