 A sick BD

Hi all, just looking around a bit on the site and wanted to try this forum. I have a F juvenile BD. she is a rescue. she has been doing fine but on wednesday my son called and said something was wrong. i took her to the vet that night and she is doing good now but I am so curious to find out what the heck was going on. her syptoms were... black beard (really black) rolling like crocs do that death role thing. her vent was open. her head cocked to one side like looking up. she wasn’t eating very well the few days before but other than that nothing unusual. the vet said she was dizzy and could be either ear infection or nerological disorder. the herp vet was out so we went to a vet who although didn’t specialize in herps she had some knowledge. she put her on antibiotics and probiotics and said just make her comfy and try to get her to eat. well within 5 hours she was noticably better. no black beard and no rolling. next day she started eating again and today she is nearly back to eating her usual. I know I have all the right tank set up and her diet is right. this is a mystery to me and lots of others so I thought just ask maybe someone had a idea.
thanks for any ideas guys
Deb

If you are still checking and looking and have the BD, go here, its another forum within this site. It’s specific for Bearded Dragons, and there are alot of very knowledgable people on there.
