 Gold Dust Geckos

I have 2 adult and 2 baby Gold Dust Geckos. When I put crickets in the cage there are some that they didn’t get eaten and grew big. WIll they hurt my lizards? I read online that crickets pinch. Do the mealworms need to be small or bigger ones?

 Gold Dust Geckos

Hello! Yes, crickets can hurt your geckos. When the crickets get hungry, they can bite/chew on your gecko. I would take out any uneaten crickets. As far as the size of the mealworms, I would say small ones should be okay. The rule of thumb is only offer food that is smaller than the width between their eyes. Also you can offer them Day Gecko diets along with various insects.
