I caught a house gekko and am planning to keep it can it live with anoles

No their both diffrent species meaning care will be diffrent as well. Also the gecko you caught may have parasites that will infect your anoles...I think you should let it go because your stressing it by taking him from his home and putting him in a glass tank.

True, but when I fought it he ran under a log and at a small Beetle and say with one of my anoles

I think there is probably no harm in keeping them together, because they are about the same size and anyway, the anoles are day-active and the gecko is active at night.

do not keep different species together, even same species should not be kept together , only very rarely.
both species have yes simaler ,. but also different needs, the anole needs uv lighting and heat during the day, and colder nights, where the house gecko needs no uv, and night heat and not so warm day time, as they are nocturnal. the heat in different times could effect each lizard and stress them out, even the other lizards just seeing them will stress them out, even if it doesn’t look stressed it may well be.
and house geckos only get about 5 inches thats full grown size
