Please help me identify this gecko My friend who works at a grocery store just found what looks to be a gecko in the bananas. I think she may want to keep it so I’m hoping someone could help us ID it so she’ll know how to take care of it properly. These aren’t the best pictures as they were taken with a camera phone. Thanks.

Please help me identify this gecko From the pics, it’s probably a very young house gecko. It’s not uncommon for house geckos and anoles to show up on banana deliveries and, occasionally, flower arrangements. At the least, give it a 10 gallon tank for now and look up a few caresheets. If small crickets are too big for the gecko (ie, if it’s a hatchling), you can get some pin-head crickets at your local petstore by asking.

Please help me identify this gecko You have an african house gecko,I have a couple of them, they do not get very large, seem to have lots of personality.Care is the same as other house geckos, they like to bask in the evening and are tolerand to cool temps while they sleep during the day. They will eat anything that moves that might fit their mouth.
