 Umm what kind of Gecko do i have?.....?

My boyfriend came home from work the other nite n brought home a gecko, i did some research it looks kind of like the mediteranean gecko, it has bands around the tail n spots on it. Its also kind of translucent....
What should i house the Gecko in? What are the correct temps? Humidity? Food?
I have a green chinese water dragon .. is it close to the same?
Do I need the UVB lights n heat lamp for him? And i also read that he’s noctournal so should the be on during the nite instead of day? I mean that should be an obvious question but unsure..
Also, if, when, and how can i tell whether its a male or a female? How big is it going to get?
Any kind of info would really help me

UH, That sounds like a Leopard Gecko to me. If it is, there are great care sheets on this site, here’s a good one you can look over: Link As you will see, their care is definitely not the same as a H2O Dragon. After reading the care sheet, if you have more specific questions, please ask.
