 I need help identifying this gecko.

first of im 100% sure its a gecko, it has no eyelids, feathered toe pads(it doesnt stick to smooth surfaces though...kinda odd) ...it is also nocturnal, i caught it at night and it has vertical pupils and the eyes are very close together on the top of the head. i caught it in Southern Nevada, Las Vegas actually so the odds of it being a tropical species is exceptionally rare given our dry climate. At the moment this is the only photo i have. i tried to get closer, but a cell phone camera only works so well lol i have muuuuch better pics on my digital camera with photos of the toe pads eyes ect ect. but i misplaced my chord to connect it to my computer x.x and also if it helps, it plays dead which is weird to me haha PLEASE HELP! :)

i also forgot to add that it is pretty agressive for a little lizard. tries to bite when i pick him up.
