 Vacation?

If I get a gargoyle gecko and a crested gecko for my new tank, can I leave on vacation for like a week? I would put a lot of crickets in the cage with some lettuce and carrots for the crickets so they wouldn’t annoy the geckos. I would also attach an automatic mister to the tank. Would that work?

i wouldnt leave them alone for a full week and if they dont eat the crickets and the crickets eat all their food up or it goes bad they are going to start chewing on the geckos.. a;s i would advise against getting new geckos before you go on vaycation because if they dont do well you may come back to dead geckos... also a crestie and gargoyle cant go to gether unless you want a tailless and possibly injured crestie or gargoyle

Also, I was going to keep them in my garage(2 cresteds). When it gets cold that wouldn’t be a problem because I would heat the tank. But when it gets around 90 degrees when there’s a heat wave, do you know how I can cool off the cage? I was looking forward to getting cresteds, but I didn’t think that a really hot cage would be a problem because they’re from New Caledonia, but then I read that the temperature should not be over 85 or death can result.

there are a few things to help with cooling the cage but it will need to be checked on frequently. like frozen waterbottles on the top of the cage... but the easiest way to keep the heat down is find an area that stays fairly consistant cooler temp

I’ll just move the tank into my house. I’m sure I can fit them somewhere! (:
