check warm areas. like the fridge, etc. houseies are nocturnal right? try turnig the lights on during the night or using a flashlight. also put out a few dishes of water.

You also should let about 300 crickets loose in the house. lol, jk about the last part. hope you find her!

you could put the crickets in a bowl or something similiar and see if they attract him to it.

 ESCAPED!!!

Its been 3 days now and still no sign of her.. We have a bowl of mealworms, and a small dish of water out for her.. a few crickets running loose... Looked behind everything, posters, pics, electronics, ect... Her mate Speedy looks depressed and seems to be searching the tank for her on a daily basis.... (Still eating and all, but does not look happy...) I’m starting to think she has escaped from the Apt. altogether... We’re really bummed out and haven’t told the kids she’s missing yet... Still searching... Is there anything I might be missing? Anything else I could be doing to attract her? The other major thing I’m worried about is that she might be pregnant, ’cause I caught them mating... Next thing you know, I’ll have babies running around the house!

 ESCAPED!!!

Just keep checking everywhere. It’s amazing the places for escapees to hide. Check the couch, she could be underneath large appliances. Check you hamper. My house gecko got away for about 20 minutes one day while I was cleaning her cage and somehow ended up in a pile of towels. Right now I’m looking around imagining all of the places I would look if I lost a gecko...she could lurk around for days and you’d never know it. Just don’t give up! Maybe try setting up a little temporary home. Tip something over (like a plastic bin) on its side, make it nice and warm with a heat lamp or what have you, add some foliage, water, maybe some food. Anything that will make her comfortable and think about hanging out there. Check it every morning. They look for heat and comfort. It just might work. Maybe put a couple around the apartment. She might be sticking to one room and won’t find just one.
Best of luck! I really hope you find her!

just keep checking and re checking everywhere... when we had some escapees(and trust me ive had quite a few and some were only about an inch long at the time) we would look everywhere and stop for a bit and look again and again and again and they would turn up in a spot weve already looked like 5 limes or theyd be right out in the open where we didnt think of looking...

I’ll try re-checking hiding places again.. I’m starting to think she might have left the appartment, ’cause we haven’t seen any sign of her at all.. We had a bowl of mealworms out, which I just put away, ’cause she still hadn’t eaten any of them.. Thanks for all the great advice guys and gals.. I’ll keep you updated...

 ESCAPED!!!

I bought her from a store, petco... I’ve had her for over 6 months, and she must have escaped when I switched her light... been missing for 6-7 days now... I’ve pretty much given up, ’cause we’re smokers and leave the door open when we smoke outside... so the door is open alot.. I think she must have left the appartment... oh well... I’ll miss her...

OH MY GOD!!! We Finally found her!!!! She was hiding in the one place I didn’t expect to find her..My b/f found her while he was cleaning the kitchen, hiding under a mobile cabinant.... She’s emaciated, but has eaten 3 mealworms, and a couple of crickets since she was put back in her tank with her mate... She was extremely cold and has been spending all her time under the light... But she looks like she’s gonna make it... I’M SOOOO HAPPY!!!!

Yay!
Im so glad you found her. i was a wreck when boomer escaped. we have three cats and i was terrified that id find him as a cat play thing.. it turned out boomer had taken up residence in our computer room behind the tower where it was warm. we caught him over two weeks after he got loose.. and he wasnt too thrilled about it.
Im so excited you found her!
Yay again!!!
