 So...

would a 20G tank be big enough for 2 geckos? i have a girl leo, and i have had her for 2 years now, and she looks lonely, so i was thinking about getting another one, but is a 20G tank big enough for 2?

Leopard geckos are mainly solitary in the wild. They do not really care about another gecko in the tank- as far as wanting a friend.

A 20g would be ok, but for 2 adults a 30g would be much better. (U need to get another adult, or ur current one will bully the new gecko if she is any smaller.)

If u want them to live in the same tank, u have to get a female. A male will most likely over breed her and stress her out. This can cause serious health issues and most likely, death.

They are solitary reptiles so they don’t need companions. And as the press and about the mentioned make sure it’s a female because they will get along just fine as long as there the same size. I have two leopard geckos and are both females I myself and everyone else that has in a picture believes they might be from the same clutch. So they were raised together since babies. And after being together for so long they like to follow each other around and lean on each other’s backs as if they were bearded dragons.

Before I got my leopard geckos they were in a much smaller enclosure do to the person I know when it everything about them they are currently housed in a 30 long

A 20 gallon will do umm from all that I’ve read its 10 gallons for every leo and I also read they live in little wholes alone so it should be okay for them
