feed my leos mealies I buy from the live bait section of the hardware store... JW cause I mean they are mealworms... If I gut load them...JW lemme know.

You should ask someone who works there if the mealworms are sprayed with anything to attract fish. Otherwise i believe their your everyday mealworms, and yes you can feed them to your gecko.

sweetness! they are a lot cheaper than what you get at the petstore... yea I know money is not an object when caring for my buddies... but look at Petstore raps...look at Blaze...he got worms from petsmart insects...so yes I want something better than the dirty crap you get a Petstores

lol i no how u feel wit the petstore stuff, i had a beardie die from the typical petstore bug. Anywho, if u really think about it petsmart is a more reliable thing than a hardware store...i mean they sell them for fish...dont really think about parasites there. But at petsmart and stuff they at least kind of have a understand of whats going to be eating them. Anywho if your worried about parasites, maybe just breed them yourself. Its fairly easy. Or order online. Just a suggestion.

i get wax worms from walmart that are supposed to be for bait and never have a problem

as for parasites, food you breed yourself can get parasites

usually they get parasites if they are kept in dirty conditions, so they can get them from the supplier, the store, or even b/c you have them too crowded and dont clean their cage enough(i am talking about the crickets here not the reptile lol)

so it is much less likly that the crickets will have parasites if you breed them your self b/c hopefully you keep them cleaner than petstore do sometimes

ooo yea I hate how dirty petstore stuff is...you open teh cricket thing and you imeaditly get hit with bug-stink!!!! I mean I’m talking bout mealies from da hardware store live-bait section... so I can yeah!!!
