New baby & has problem with leg?

hello

i just got a new baby, i adopted her(hopefully a girl anyway we usually get girls in b/c the breeder tries to incubate for female) from work b/c she has a deformity(more on that later)

anyway just wanted to post some pics and ask about her "problem"

ok and as for her leg problem, she was adopted for this reason, she has some extra skin which i know can be normal for hatchlings but she has some webbing on her one leg i was just wondering if anyone knows what causes this(incubation problems) she walks fine and eats well, and i dont think it will effect her mobility or anything but i wanted to know if this is anything i should be concerned about and if this is permanent, its fine if it is of course lol ust want to know

also you can see a little extra skin flap on her sholder on that side too
(ignore that bluish speck on her leg my computor did something wierd lol)

i am thinking of calling her webster(i know its a boys name) but if you can think of any girls with web in the name i will consider those too

thanks

it can be sometimes coused by incubation temps from what ive read but if there not set prop and go up and down it can cause disformalitys

Webella... IDK... It doesn’t look to bad... if she can walk and eat fine then I wouldn’t worry about it unless she seemed uncomfortable with it... If you start to get worried then I ’d take her(or him) to the vet...

Commenting on another post:
Is yr one leos name actually No Name or is that just what yr calling her till you find one...???

aww have you seen spirited away? There is a character named no face in it, reminded me of that.
Anyway, cute little gecko you have their. I don’t really see anything wrong with her leg at all, a little extra skin but maybe its just one of those things. Like how some people earlobes are detached and some are attached ya know?

yes i have seen spirited away lol

no it is not as common as attached/detached earlobes that is something passed on through genetics and this isnt
but she doesnt seem bothered by it

thanks

doesnt look very bad, but it might catch on stuff or get chewed on by crix. You could take it to the vet and have them surgically remove it. might take a little cash, but could save a "freaking out" trip to the vet later on.

i dont leave crickets in the cage so no worry there and i dot see how it would get caught on anything, plus i doubt a leo that small would do well through surgery

thanks for the thought though

It could get caught on a something the gecko is laying on, like a piece of wood on a log hide. A gecko that small usually shouldnt go through surgury, but since it is just loose skin on the back of the leg, I dont think there would be a problem (ask a vet though). You dont have to take care of the skin, but it would be better than something bad happening to it in the future.
