How resistant are leopard geckos to carbon monoxide? My dad wants to place my breeding project in the garage-i’ve measured the temperatures and they stay in the mid 70’s, so I have heat tape connected to a thermostat running along one side of the breeding cages, set at 90 degrees for a gradient. However, because cars will be entering and leaving, there may be a carbon monoxide in the air-not a lot, but some. Is this a major hazard? Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you!

Note: the garage will be open as much as possible, expect at night.

I personally have found no problem with keeping mine in my garage. I do not crank the car and let it just sit and build fumes though. I wouldn’t call myself an expert on it or anything.
