You need a Styrofoam ice chest ...a heat pad ...and a thermostat or lamp dimer and an old cookie / cake rack.

When you get those items let me know.

Ice chest 8.00
heat pad 19.99
lamp dimmer 11.99
temp gun 20-30.00 + shipping

Hova bator incubator 56.50

This certainly isn’t the best way to do things, and most people will have negative thoughts about it, but it’s working for me. An old cricket tub with the air holed taped up and half filled with damp vermiculite. It’s best to weigh the vermiculite and add water to the same weight. I keep the incubation chamber at the warm end of my viv, which is a steady 82f. 2 Hatched geckos and 2 eggs looking good at the moment :)

Ohh there’s another item you need ...a digital gram scale to weigh the vermiculite and the water.

Target 34.99

i used a set of kitchen scales lol
basically, the only extra money i’ve parted with is for the hatchlings living quarters and extra crickets and mealworms.
It’s best to open the incubation tub once a week to get some fresh air in there

I have incubated in the enclosure itself...with sphagnum moss and a deli cup...but that was back in the day.

All high tech now....lol
